Editorial Standards

Plain language before jargon

Terms are defined before formulas are introduced. When organizations use the same word differently, the page states the local-definition risk instead of pretending there is one universal meaning.

Vendor-neutral scope

The site does not publish paid rankings, fake reviews or “best software” lists. Product names may appear only when necessary to explain a general concept, source or historical context.

Editable assumptions

Calculator examples are not defaults for every organization. Users can change demand, lead time, rates, service factors, values and status quantities. Results identify what is included and excluded.

Safety and regulatory boundaries

Fuel, aviation, SDS, dangerous-goods, hazardous-material, disposal and technical-serviceability pages stay high level. Current official rules, local procedures and qualified personnel take precedence.

Corrections

Material factual errors may be reported through the restricted contact page. Commercial solicitations and requests for individual inventory decisions are outside the site’s purpose.
